It’s one of the busiest bus routes in the South-Eastern Metro region, but it hasn’t seen a timetable upgrade in over 30 years! Rachel asks when the much needed timetable upgrades for the 800 bus route from Dandenong to Chadstone will occur.

On the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Intersexism (IDAHOBIT) Rachel rose in Parliament to pay homage to all of Victoria’s 79 councils for raising Pride Flags on IDAHOBIT and the Rainbow Community Angels proactive and positive response to the extremist actions hate speech leading up to this day.

Rachel raised a constituency question to the Minister for Roads and Road Safety about a decade-long campaign for an upgrade of the Heatherton Road and Douglas Street roundabout outside of the Noble Park activity centre.

Rachel addressed a question to the Minister for Corrections in relation to the high proportion of people with mental health illness entering the prison system and the potential for medicinal cannabis to be among treatments offered to prisoners.

Rachel raised an adjournment to ascertain a response to the 59th Parliament’s Legislative Council Legal and Social Issues Committee inquiry into the use of cannabis in Victoria.

Rachel delivered a member’s statement to thank the Fire Rescue Victoria team for their comprehensive fire ops training.

On behalf of Legalise Cannabis Victoria, Rachel introduced a motion for a Parliamentary Inquiry into the potential for Industrial Hemp in Victoria.

Rachel rose in the Legislative Council to speak to the proposed amendments for the Human Source Management Bil (2023) which seeks to introduce legislation to guide and provide increased oversight of police use of ethically-obtained, human, sources of information.

Rachel communicated a constituent’s distress and disappointment over a children’s Easter event which was shut down after a group of anti-LGBTIQ+ fringe activists threatened to stalk drag performers.
