Human Source Management Bill (2023) – Debate
Rachel rose in the Legislative Council to speak to the proposed amendments for the Human Source Management Bil (2023) which seeks to introduce legislation to guide and provide increased oversight of police use of ethically-obtained, human, sources of information.
Concerns about anti-LGBTIQA+ hate speech in the South East
Rachel communicated a constituent’s distress and disappointment over a children’s Easter event which was shut down after a group of anti-LGBTIQ+ fringe activists threatened to stalk drag performers.
Status of Anti-vilification Legislation
Rachel asked a question to the Minister for Equality, Ms Shing and Attorney General, Jaclyn Symes about the status of anti-vilification protections for the LGBTIQ+ community.
Police and the LGBTIQ+ Community
