Pride has a place in Victoria.

We are lucky to live in a state that welcomes people for who they are, yet sadly, we continue to hear that discrimination still continues to hurt our community and infiltrate many facets of our society where we should all feel safe.

We have witnessed a long history of brutality and mistreatment of many members of the community from those who are installed to protect us, and we will no longer stand idle in the face of such inequity.

We are working to ensure this government invests in specialist support services for the community. In the 2024-2025 budget, I was pleased to see that the Victorian Government listened to our calls to provide funding for Pride in Place. This is an organisation that does incredible work for LGBTIQA+ people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in housing that is unsafe, insecure, or too expensive.

We stand for an equal and equitable Victoria and are looking forward to working with the community and government to bring about anti-vilification legislation and protections to keep us all free from harm.

Join us as in our fight for equality and sign up to show your support.
