Derek Pyrah is a retired Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) veteran who served in the Iraq War. He is the founder of the Safer Veterans Australia and the No More Zombie Veterans campaign, which advocates for Australian veterans’ access to medicinal cannabis as a safer alternative to outdated poly-pharmacy treatments.
Derek’s advocacy is centred around education and sharing his lived experience, to create change that will see Veterans no longer silenced and suffering.
